What’s a better way to spend a Saturday than sipping a delicious rosé? Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Bowman Cellars during their guest chef pop-up.
You guys know I love a good rosé – and I will definitely be coming back for this one. It’s crisp, light and a perfect drink for a summer afternoon. It paired really nicely with the braised barbacoa and sofrito by guest Chef Marisa Gittens.

After enjoying our meal and rosé in Bowman’s beautiful courtyard while listening to live music, my friends and I explored inside the tasting room. The tasting room is adorable – who doesn’t love a neon sign?
My friends had a full flight of the Bowman wines, while I was so in love with the rosé that I had another glass and snagged a bottle to take home. I love that the rosé is like a growler system – the bottle is initally $28, but if you bring back the bottle to refill it’s $24. Always love sustainable practices!

We also got a taste of the sparking rosé, which is now at the top of my special occasions wine list. In addition to the delicious wines and cute atmosphere, the owners Katie and Alex Bowman were incredibly sweet and a pleasure to chat with.
As a Sonoma County local, I have to say I totally under-appreciated Graton – now that I know this gem is there, I will be going back soon. I recommend Bowman for a girls wine tasting day or a casual afternoon date, or just a stop to snag a killer bottle of local rosé!
