Even though the Bay Area has pretty mild weather compared to the blizzard of a winter on the East Coast, the colder air can still dry out my skin. I have combination skin – which means my T-zone (nose + forehead) get oily while I get dry patches on the rest of my face. This becomes quite a pain when the temperature drops. For those of you who feel my pain (or just want to check out some awesome products), here are my current skincare favorites!

Review: Nyx Total Control Drop Foundation
This has been a hot topic in the beauty community, so I was itching to pick it up. The Nyx Total Control Drop Foundation ($13.99) is a thin, lightweight foundation that is supposed to be able to be built up from sheer to full coverage depending on the amount of drops you use. This is a great …
Review: GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment Face Mask
Anyone who knows me well knows I'm a face mask junkie. I have a different face mask on almost every night. So, naturally, I needed to try the GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment ($69). I know, I know, $69 for a 1.2 ounce face mask jar? It's steep. Really steep. But here's the thing: I have …

Perfectly Posh Haul and Review
One of my good friends sent me over a Perfectly Posh care package for Christmas and I had never heard of the brand before, so of course, I want to share my thoughts with you guys! Review: Wet n Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Palette and Contouring Palette
Wet n Wild Cosmetics just keeps slaying the drugstore makeup game. Recently I picked up the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Palette ($4.99) in the shade Catwalk Pink and the MegaGlo Contouring Palette ($4.99) in the shade Dulce de Leche. I have to say I'm majorly impressed by these $5 palettes. The illuminating palette has four different shades …

Review: Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
I have been waiting the better part of a year to get my hands on the Too Faced Cosmetics Sweet Peach palette ($49), so when Too Faced re-released it in December, I was ecstatic. Of course I put my order in as soon as possible. The palette comes in a tin casing, very similar to the …
Review: Kylie Cosmetics Merry Lip Kit
Let's be honest: Kylie Cosmetics is one of the most controversial brands on the market. I didn't buy this product because I'm a fan of the Kardashians, honestly, I don't care about them one way or the other. This review is about the product, not about Kylie as a person. That being said, I was …
